The Market will kick off on Friday, August 1, in the evening with a “sneak peek” of makers, and continue on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, with music all weekend by local DJs, food and drinks available.  The main focus throughout the weekend is the maker or seller of vintage goods, and local chefs. FAQ

The Market is a juried event. We do this to allow a unique variety of makers and vendors.

What do you do with my booth fee?

The booth fee helps in part to help support event costs like rental of Forest Service Park + Washington street, recycling program by the ERC, marketing and promotional efforts for the event. Please also see Marketing Section.

Can I share a booth with someone?

Of course! Just make sure that the space will work for both of you, your application is turned in together (indicate applying together), and payment is made in full by one person (we cannot do split payments at this time). You are responsible for finding someone to share a booth.

Can I attend only one or two days, instead of all three?

No, you must attend all three days.

I need more space, can I purchase two booths?

At this time, we can accommodate only one booth per application.

Can open flame be used for cooking or other?

No, due to strict rules by the City of Ketchum, open flame cooking or using open flame for your craft is not allowed.

Are there rules for food vessels, water sales, and plastic bags?

The City of Ketchum prohibits the sale and distribution of single-use plastic water bottles, plastic straws, plastic bags, and to-go food containers made of plastic or styrofoam at events that take place on City property. The Market takes place on/at city property so we must adhere to these rules.

Do you take a commission of my sales?

No way!

Refund policy

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds once paid.

Do I need a permit?

Please make sure you follow Idaho State law on collecting taxes, etc. The Market is not responsible for any permits that you may need. You are required to submit all taxes to the State of Idaho AND City of Ketchum.

Why are we called The Market?

We’re keeping it simple, like we do every day. We decided we didn’t need a fancy name to describe a collection of spectacular makers, artists, and collectors—we’re going to let your work speak for itself. We hope you join us for an amazing event!
